IC issuance matter

It is ridiculous. The way things are done with regards to the application of my daughter’s ic deserve some attention. It’s almost 8 mths already and there’s still no news of the approval. The application was to be reviewed by the special committee in Putra Jaya, KL during the meeting. No one knows when the meeting will take place and when the approval will be made.

I was informed that this procedure was necessary because of her mother’s late birth certificate registration last time. What is my daughter’s ic got to do with her mother’s late registration? Why is my daughter’s ic application deserve such special procedure? I really don’t understand.

In Sabah, Filipino and Indonesians could easily obtain IC despite being foreigners. The NRD was said to approved these foreigners applications based on fake documents. This has been a major issue in Sabah recently.

Since my application is a genuine one, I didn’t pay any money. I think that’s why it was slow. On the contrary, in Sabah, these foreigners must have been using bribery to get the fast approval / issuance of their IC, but not sure actually.

If this is the case, looks like my daughter’s child would face the same problem later. And it would go on and on and on!!!

Why the federal gov’t impose such rulings on Sarawakians?

Fuck the NRD system!!!

    I had the same issue with my wife’s son. She did not have IC at the time when he was born. She only got it much later.

    I wrote in to Biro Pengaduan Awam. FYI, it is in the NRD client charter that all problem applications (cases such as ours) but paperwork all in order, must be resolved within 6 months. On this basis I complained.

    A few letters and phone calls later, I picked up his IC last week, 1 year after the date of application.

    They have standard reply. Must know which button to push. Hope this info helps you along.

    U must have undergone several difficulties dealing with it last time. Anyway, it’s good that u managed to get it at last.
