More money for Sarawak

In today’s paper, Najib said he will assure that more money for Sarawak in the next 10th Malaysia Plan. Immediately, it came across my mind the following questions:

1. How much more?
2. Who benefits from that fund?
3. How would the rakyat know that, the fund are really for the people, not for “Certain People”?

Like before and always, there’s no transparency in implementing any kind of project. Only a certain people did really enjoy the “isi” and the rakyat will, like always, get the “kuah”. This has been the federal practice towards us, especially Sabah and Sarawak.

Another question which I love to ask is, why is it only now that the federal really take care of Sabah and Sarawak? Why? Is it because of the change of leadership? Or is it because of the result of the previous GE which might have woken them from sleep? Well, if it so, good for Sarawak. At least they are awake before the thieves take away their beloved empire from them. This means too, the result of the previous GE really scare them to death.

Finally solved!!!

Refer to my previous post : IC Issuance Matter

Thank God, at last this matter has been resolved after so much troubles. Her IC has been collected after 9 months of restless wait and she’s now back to school.

To those who were very concerned about this, I personally thank you all. May God Bless Us All. Amen.

Barred from coming to school

Refer to my previous post : My daugther deprived of her schooling rights

Effective today, 02-09-2009, a total of 14 students (some form 1 & others form 2) are barred from attending school (SMK Assyakirin, Sg Plan, Jalan Tg Kidurong, Bintulu), including my daughter, until they can provide IC. They are now (including my daughter) required by the school to fill up the red form (Permohonan penerimaan masuk murid bukan warganegara ke sekolah Kerajaan/Sekolah bantuan kerajaan – Jadual Pertama, Akta Pendidikan 1996). By filling up this form, we are required to pay school fees. This procedure is for foreign children. BUT, WE ARE NOT FOREIGNERS!!!!!

Consider the emotional effect that the school do to these students!!! They are now very young around the age of 13 or 14 and are easily affected by the environment. They should encourage these students to study, instead they enforce this illogical policy. Read more »

IC issuance matter

It is ridiculous. The way things are done with regards to the application of my daughter’s ic deserve some attention. It’s almost 8 mths already and there’s still no news of the approval. The application was to be reviewed by the special committee in Putra Jaya, KL during the meeting. No one knows when the meeting will take place and when the approval will be made.

I was informed that this procedure was necessary because of her mother’s late birth certificate registration last time. What is my daughter’s ic got to do with her mother’s late registration? Why is my daughter’s ic application deserve such special procedure? I really don’t understand. Read more »

My daugther deprived of her schooling rights

All this while I’ve been blogging and discussing about other people’s problems. This time it’s my problem and I’m sharing it with you guys.

On 23/07/2009, I was informed by “Penyelia Petang” of SMK Assyakirin that my daughter who is now studying in Form One might not be able to continue schooling. Her name might be strike off from the school list. Even if she be allowed to continue schooling, she might be required to apply and pay for study pass. I was shocked.

This problem arise as I’m not able to provide her IC to the school concerned, due to the delay in issuance of her IC by the JPN, Bintulu. I applied for my daughter’s IC on 16/12/2008. As of today, 24/07/2009, the IC is still under process. I was told by JPN Bintulu that the issuance of my daughter’s IC is on hold until it is approved by JPN HQ in Putra Jaya due to her mother’s late registration of her birth certificate last time. Her mother’s IC was issued in 2001. What is worst, no one knows how long is the process will take. Read more »
